CÁCH VIẾT MỞ BÀI (INTRODUCTION) HIỆU QUẢ
🎯 I) Tác dụng của 1 phần introduction:
- Đưa ra bối cảnh chung của đề và đưa ra các vấn đề cần phải bàn luận.
- Là một phần tóm tắt ngắn gọn cho những ý sẽ được triển khai trong phần body.
- Tạo ra ấn tượng ban đầu cho người đọc.
🎯 II) Cấu trúc của 1 phần introduction:
Phần introduction gồm 2 câu:
- General statement: giới thiệu cho người đọc về topic mình sẽ viết.
- Thesis statement: Câu cung cấp một bản tóm tắt ngắn gọn về điểm chính và yêu cầu của bài luận.
🎯 III) Cách viết introduction:
1. General statement:
- Paraphrase lại phần đề bài
👉 Ví dụ: Lack of fresh water is becoming a global issue of increasing importance.
→ Paraphrase: It is of great concern that clean water shortage has eventually become more troublesome on a global scale.
- Đưa ra một bối cảnh chung để dẫn vào vấn đề cần bàn luận
👉 Ví dụ : Lack of fresh water is becoming a global issue of increasing importance.
→ Due to increasing industrialization, which contaminates many water resources, clean water shortage has become a significant problem worldwide.
2. Thesis Statement:
- Ghi ra nháp những ý chính trong bài mình sẽ triển khai
- Paraphrase lại những ý chính đó thành những danh từ, cụm danh từ hoặc các cụm ngắn gọn.
- Viết thành một câu hoàn chỉnh bao gồm tất cả những ý mình đã rút gọn.
👉 Ví dụ: Lack of fresh water is becoming a global issue of increasing importance. What problems does this shortage cause? What measures could be taken to overcome these problems?
Outline: + Problems: Health and Economical issues.
+ Measure: Government’s separating industrial and residential areas and better regulating water resources.
→ Thesis statement: This has led to such problems as health and economic crises, which can only be solved efficiently.

economical則是「節省的、經濟實惠的」。
本題要表達的是「不浪費燃油」，故用economical。

For this video, I headed over to the Cai Png (mixed economic rice) store at Gourmet Express food court in Bishan to assemble and demolish a 5KG plate of Cai Png. Cai Png is a Southeast Asian concept where you get to choose an assortment of side dishes ala carte to go with your serving(s) of rice at extremely affordable prices. Shout-out to my good friend Wilsurn Lim for the Cai Png recommendation!
Dishes come prepared in every way imaginable, be it braised, deep fried, steamed or stewed, and it would be difficult to exhaust all their permutations of chicken, pork, fish and vegetables. For the cost-conscious, vegetable options are the cheapest, followed by chicken and pork, with the most expensive being fish. Although most of these dishes are cooked in bulk, they usually taste at least adequately, especially when you factor in the price, with a few stand-out sides depending on the store you are at.
As times are bad now, I tried to be economical with this challenge, resulting in a 5kg plate of food that only cost me SGD$22! The cost for your average person should only be $3-5 depending on how extravagant you wish to be with your sides. I managed to complete this challenge in just under 32 minutes!
The one that I went is at Bishan Interchange, Blk 514A! Do head down to your nearest Cai Png place to get good and affordable food!
